If your nights are not what they used to be. If you can’t wake up with the same refreshed feeling you earlier did, if you hesitate getting up from your bed, these are all symptoms to a disease called Bad Mattress not best one.
Well it’s not a disease as such, but it’s close. It’s when you know you’ve got to change your mattress. Point is, every brand out there claims to be the best mattress available, making your choices hard for you. Well that’s why I’ve compiled this list of best money mattress for you.
So without beating around the bush, let me get direct to the point.
Top 5 Mattress For The Money
Note:- This isn’t a “Rank-list”, so the #1 mattress on this list isn’t the “best”, infact you wouldn’t want to miss #5.
1. Hyphen Mattress
Here is a short Hyphen Mattress Review
Hyphen Mattress is best known for its anti-microbial environment for starters. Its certified from CertiPUR-US and hence there’s no way any kind of bacteria or pathogen would make partner to your bed.
Apart from that, the sheet is completely washable. The foam too is custom formulated, its plush no doubt but its made with extra cautions and hence it won’t be sucking you in, now that might be a good or bad thing depending on your own personal choice.
As far as dealing with heat is concerned, it’s one of the best mattresses you’ll ever come across. It doesn’t trap heat on its own, and whatever heat your body emits is let out in less than 10 seconds!
Well the icing on the cake is that, there’s a 100-day trial period for you to try the mattress out, and 3-months is honestly more than enough. Not to mention the 20-year warranty you’ll be getting hence guaranteeing you its longevity.
The edge support isn’t as great as you might expect.
2. Eve Mattress Review
If “more layers” of foam excite you, this is what you should be going for. Made with a 4-layer foam distribution, specifically starting from the base layer (high density), and then a breathable comfort layer, memory foam and finally the breathable cover.
The comfort layer has a 30% more breathability compared to its other contemporaries in the same price-range. As far as motion concealment is concerned, that’s just one less thing you’ve to worry about Eve, because honestly the foam distribution is better than expected, hence aiding the motion isolation.
It doesn’t trap heat as well, it uses open air technology hence cooling down the mattress pretty fast. As far as holding the body goes, I must say it knows where the pressure holds, specifically the back, neck and hip support was just great. It not only “doesn’t” cause any kind of body pain, but even helps you get rid of them if you had them earlier. It gets you a 100-day trial period as well, backed by a 10-year warranty.
You might get that mattress-odor for a bit longer than usual when you get your Eve mattress out. Also, the warranty is just 10-years, I expected it to be atleast 15 or 20 years.
This mattress comes in three different firmness levels. What’s better is that, if for some reasons you couldn’t get the right firmness, they do send a free Comfort+ kit to you absolutely free of cost to make the necessary modifications to your bed.
Air ventilation is praise worthy. It lets out any trapped heat, and allows cool air to pass through. Point being, it doesn’t retain heat.
But without doubt it shows confidence in its products by providing us with a 120 day trial-period as well as a 15 year guarantee.
- Not great Edge support.
- Heavy. The weight is a slight problem if you aren’t a person with a lot of strength.
4. AmeriSleep Liberty
Here is a short AmeriSleep Liberty Review
The two things the AmeriSleep boasts about is its breathability and the Bio-PUR memory foam. In other words, it reportedly guarantees that a person would fall asleep 15 minutes faster than any average mattress.
If you want a mattress that not extremely soft but not totally firm either, befriend the AmeriSleep. It lies just in between softness and extreme firmness. I would rate it 6/10 on the firmness level, hence the “6” goes to softness, and the rest 4 to firmness.
Also you won’t have a problem sleeping with your partners because motion isolation works great as well.As far as tria goes you get it for a 100 days, along with a 20 year guarantee.
- You might be a bit “not happy” with heating levels. Because although there’s a cooling mechanism in place, It’s not quite as good as the other mattresses in this list.
- Also the Edge support isn’t worth a lot of claps either.
5. Alexander Signature
This is probably the most luxurious and comforting mattress in this whole “Best Kept Secret Mattress: For the Money” piece.
For starters, it’s 5-layered.
- Soft Quilted foam.
- Memory foam.
- Visco foam.
- Smartflow foam.
- Support base foam.
Which makes it easy to guess that comfort, support or firmness won’t be a problem with this one, ever.
Also you get to choose from three different firmness levels:-
Also, it seems the Alexander Signature did its homework, studied what were the primary “cons” with other mattresses, and tried their best to make sure that doesn’t happen with this mattress.
So let me tell you what won’t be a problem with it:-
- Odor:- There’s absolutely no odor whatsoever.
- Edge support is great. (And I don’t get to say that for every mattress!)
- For those who like sleeping “chilly”, you might want to add an extra cooling pad as the heat retention isn’t “Awesome”, but I’d still rate it 7/10.
- Motion isolation too isn’t very impressive, but just sleep alone and you’d be fine.
